Went shopping today, needed a bit of the old retail therapy. I bought a really cute vintage cardigan in light yellow with embroidery flowers. Currently sitting at Bookmans, enjoying the bizzare music and weirdos shopping. Finally finished what seemed like an incredibly large amount of homework. It was difficult! On another note, a funny moment this morning: I woke up at 3 am and decided that I would sleep in an extra hour so I reset my alarm for 7am, it finally goes off and I get up and am getting ready when I realize my computer says 6am! Stupid daylight savings time screwed up my clock. I am craving mac n cheese bad! Random I know. But when you are deprived of something for so long, you really want to eat it! I may try some later, see what happens lol. So many things running though my mind. I miss having nothing to do, it was peaceful. But we all know that I can't sit still for any long amount of time. Two things I have decided:
1. I love Gossip Girl and I don't care what you think!
2. I really am trying to get to WV this summer so I can see Steph and baby Kali! I would also like to make a quick trip to DC and NYC!
We will see and in true upper east side fashion,
xoxo

Gardening fun!
Pictures of the vegetable garden are here! Hopefully the plants will actually grow this year since we went all out and bought a bunch of stuff to build this in our backyard. I know this is kinda strange but I really like the idea of having fresh veggies that I grew myself. A lot of the plants are peppers for Robbie but hopefully our strawberries do really well and we have a ton of them! More later, gotta get ready for the day...

so this is my life....
Having not followed through with keeping up a blog for a few years, I decided that since most of my friends have moved across the country and are no longer within reach to have a girls’ night and since we are all so busy with our crazy lives, a blog seems like it might be a great idea. I know that uploading photos to myspace and facebook is great but I feel like I may be moving beyond that type of communication as it is rather juvenile. I have decided this since most of my 11 year old students have accounts on these sites and have decided to try to add me as their friend. Something is wrong with this, lol. Part of my rant today will be about the answers that students feel are ok if they don’t know. I have been getting a lot of IDK (I don’t know) text message style on their papers. why do they think that this is ok to do? I’m not sure. I think they are watching too much tv. On another note, Robbie was backing up leaving work and happened to “bump” some other car and left about 3 inches of blue paint transfer. Since he was at work and wanted to be responsible he left his information on her window. She decides that she needs to file a claim with our insurance even though we agreed to pay for it out of pocket. This made it that we had to go through our insurance which hopefully means they will forgive it and not raise our rates! I hate when people overreact. It was three inches of paint transfer on a bumper! My car was damaged way more when some crazy lady threw open her door into mine in a fit of rage and then said Fuck you and drove off! People are crazy... anyway hopefully I can post pictures of our new garden that we planted over the weekend...
