So today started off a little rough...I got electrocuted at the bright and early hour of 7:45 am. I was super excited to try out the new connection cable and hot shoe adapter for the studio lights (so they actually flash instead of just using the modeling light) so I plugged everything in and set up a shot. I snapped a few frames and then decided to turn on the lightswitch, with camera in my left hand I flipped the switch with my right and felt the strangest sensation. But did I let go of the lightswitch? No, of course not, it took me like 5-7 seconds of shuddering to realize what had happened. I think I thought it was an earthquake, lol. It was strange, it didn't really hurt but felt akin to a rumble pak on a video game (strange that I know this considering I hate them). The one thing it did do was cross a wire in my brain because I instantly became pissed off and really irritated! I mean I kicked kids out of my room at lunch! That never happens! I usually have my "besties" kids who love to hang out and either work on photos or play on the computers and they are ALWAYS there! I just felt odd, everything seemed weird like I was watching myself conduct class and was out of my body. After that I finally took off for my mom's house (she promised me dinner and to dye my hair, can't beat that). I went over there and actually felt very productive and started writing a Unit plan for my advanced class. I can work so much better when I know there is nothing around me to clean or worry about and it's so peaceful over there. My hair turned out great and I saved $50 bucks by having her do it! I have to work tomorrow which I am NOT looking forward to, I really hate the BS of working at Albertson's but I heart my boss so I keep it up because she is really great and lets me work one day a week! Ta for now but I will be back tomorrow! I am really getting in the habit of updating this! Now if only I could exercise this much! HA, never!
